Kota Belud - Aing's engagement

Alhamdulillah...a "meminang" trip across South China Sea to Kota belud is a success. We were very impressed with warm reception by Linda's family, a ceremony full of traditional values and adat..

Good news from Johor

I got a call from my brother whom we call Aing (when he was small, instead of addressing himself as "Im" (Khairil Imran), he only managed to say "Aing". So it becomes his nickname until today...he said let's go to Kota Kinabalu next month..., Ok..I'm listening..for what? He said he and Linda (his sweat-heart laa..) is planning to get engaged next month..



Wow! I said..this is good news..although I'm a bit surprised because he never mentioned anything to any of us before, I'm happy for my little brother..of course there is a lot to do within this very short period of time. But it is OK..talents for planning an engagement or wedding reception runs in the family...ha ha..ye ke??Even Kak Long can give good opinion on the hantaran design (whether ada kelas or "darat")..



A meeting to discuss the details will be held in Pasir Puteh . Nini and Alin are heading to Pasir Puteh tonight whilst Achik and me will be leaving early morning tomorrow.

Hanan & Rosella

This week has been a busy and exhausting week for our family. Hanan was down with fever from Monday 8Feb2010..and coming home from work on Thursday to see some rashes on his face and body kind of ring a bell for us.

12 years ago in Penang, Kak Long had the same sympthom, was hospitalized due to viral infection of her lungs. Panic, we took Hanan to our favourite doctor, Dr Steven and luckily the queue was not that long...Dr said this is "campak halus" or "rosella'..don't worry..not harmful,only cause discomfort due to itchiness..and he gave some medicine and lotion to make him more comfortable. What a relief...ughhh..

2010 New Schedule

It has been quite sometime since I updated this blog,,,normal excuse, busy with other things..many other things. Lots of ideas to write but no time to translate that into writing.

The drive to write today actually came from a blog that I accidentally discovered yesterday while searching for a fitness centre in Bangi area. I admired the style of writing, not so simple English, very expressive, attached with nice very photos..I should thank the writer for the motivation.

3rd week of 2010..still adjusting to the new schedule..since Kak Long goes to SAB in Kg Pandan, we have to leave the house as early as 6.40 a.m...no more sleeping after Subuh prayer! Everyday, I have to make a big round from Bukit Jalil to Kg Pandan, then drop Wae at Kg Attap, most of the time stuck in the traffic jam on the Federal Highway before finally reach my office in Subang.

And after a long day at work..very tired but excited to go home and play with Hanan.. oopps forgot... Adik's tuition...every Tuesday and Thursday night I have to send Adik for tuition in Bangi which ends at 10.15 pm and normally when we reach home at 10.45 pm, my little boy Hanan is soundly asleep ..miss you Hanan..

Form 1 SBP 2010

Yesterday, the result for 2010 intake to Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) was announced through MOE website. As usual, Kak Long and Wae are always cool...and me? Like usual also, sleepless night...nervous about the results...

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...I keyed in the Angka Giliran and clicked,,,,,,,,,,,, " Wan Adilah Wan Johan..dimaklumkan anda tidak berjaya ditawarkan ke tingkatan 1 sekolah berasrama penuh 2010". Stunned... staring on the computer screen and a big sigh...of course I felt a bit frustrated..all mothers always want the best for their children.

However, deep deep down inside..don't know why I felt relieved...since Kak Long will not be away from us..will still be around..A blessing in disguise!

However..we are still waiting for MRSM results which will be announced in January 2010. We'll see..if the rezeki for Kak Long is here in Sekolah Aminuddin Baki (SAB)..we will accept it..anyway SAB is also a school with good reputation.

And Kak Long, good school alone will not guarantee your success, it's your continuos effort and hardwork which will bring success..insyaallah!

Chicken chop 1 Muharam

Since Wae is away in Ipoh performing his duties as YaPEIM staff, all of us have to do weekend activities on our own...Wae, you should feel guilty when you read this!

So, today..early morning I went to do our routine groceries shopping at Carrefour with Adik..and felt like cooking something special for lunch. So, I decided to try out a new recipe of chicken chop (Kak As's recipe)..bought the ingredients and started to cook, of course with the help of Min & Kak Long..

Penang Trip 5th Dec 2009

A short trip to Penang last weekend was an enjoyable one...together with Ma,Abah, Ije & Family, Nini & Family..

We introduced swimming pool & beach to Hanan..looked like he really enjoyed it. Thanks to Hafidz & Wae for taking nice photos..and thanks also to Wae's friend, Rahim for booking the room in Holiday Inn..next time we will definitely visit again...
