The Day of the UPSR Results

19 Nov 2009..the day of the UPSR results..we took a half day off, went to Kak Long's school at about 10.30 am. Since not many parking space left, I reckoned that we were among the late comers..so quickly walked to the school's open hall and saw standard 6 students were all seated and the teacher were setting up the microphone. Just in time! I noticed Kak Long and her BFFs, Ira and Nurin sat next to each other and smiled at me..all with unexplained expressions..

The teacher started to call the students to receive their results from the headmistress..starting with the ones with no A, followed by 1A, 2As, 3As and 4As..and when the teacher finally announced the last name of the 4As..the students gave a big applause..because whose name were not called got 5As!

Alhamdulillah...Kak Long is one of them. Mama and Wae are really proud of you..with teary eyes I went up the stage together with Kak Long to receive the slip from the headmistress and thanked the teachers...a moment which I will always remember..
